1. Your concerns - You are concerned with ensuring that you are paying the least amount in taxes and are in complete compliance with the IRS reporting rules regarding crypto transactions.
2. Overview - We'll be going back to the year you initially started trading in crypto so I'll need all data on all Symbols, exchanges, etc. going back to that date.  This is important as I need to establish basis numbers for the ending of each year which will move forward into the following years.  This will also determine such things as whether transactions are Long term or short term, the method of accounting, etc.
3. Information gathering - We'll need the following information:
1. Last two years' tax returns
2. Login for your aggregator which should include ALL data from inception.  Please do not give us access to your assets as we only need the data
3. Screen print of your coin balances by coin with date indicated
4. Initial analytics completed - This is a first run at the analytics with no adjustments so that you can comment on any issues you see as you are more familiar with your transaction history than us.  We'll send you what the data shows and we'll meet to go over the accuracy thereof and any issues you see.
5. Final Analytics completed - For your records, which I will also retain in the unlikely chance you are audited by the IRS, I will include the standard accounting reporting such as:
1. Detailed Subsidiary ledger by Year
2. Summary Reconciliation by year including beginning and ending balances
3. Summary by symbol for each year
4. Summary by Classification for each year
5. Gain/loss reporting by year by s/t and l/t
6. 8949 forms 
6. Choose tax preparer - We can use your current tax preparer.  They will not need to know crypto since we will be sending them your tax information in a form that they will know what to do with.  If you don't have a tax professional we have a cadre of tax professionals that you can choose from.
7. Submit

The process can take a bit of time as, in some cases, we will be going over years of data.  The first year is always the most challenging as we'll be going back to the beginning of your entire trading history.
